| Description: |
Similar
to the Apollo Belvedere, attributed to Leochares. Rome. H. 2.24m (whole
statue). Armless torso, very similar in design and execution to that
of the Apollo Belvedere. This torso has a thinner cloak, no crossband
for a quiver, and a shorter distance between the navel and genitals. |
| Date: |
c. 330 B.C. |
| Discussion: |
This
would seem to be a poor copy of the torso of the Apollo Belvedere.
