Overview
Scholarly interest in the lived experience of eighteenth-century Scotswomen has undergone a remarkable revival in recent years, most notably amongst a new generation of historians. This event brings together both emerging and established scholars from diverse historical perspectives, to share new research on women’s roles, responsibilities, expectations and experiences in eighteenth-century Scotland.
Registration fee: £15 (£5 for students/unwaged). Includes teas and coffees, lunch, and wine reception.
