I
recently retired as Professor in, and
Head of, the Department of Classics,
and am delighted now to be able to maintain
my links with the ambitious and thriving
School of History and Classics. My contributions
to the teaching of the School include
part of an Honours course on writing
Greek prose, and an Honours course 'Greek
coins in Greek history'. The latter
will draw on my own publications in
the field of Greek coinage e.g. Campanian
Coinages (1979), Greek Coinages
of Southern Italy and Sicily (1997),
and also on my current work on the Greek
coinages of Sicily .
